Media Madness -- Distorting Reality

Al Hunt is a former editor of Bloomberg News.  He has a TV show on some public stations.  He is a syndicated columnist.  Lastly, he clearly is a member of the Obama Can Do No Wrong Club.

Here is Hunt's latest effort.  It appears under the headline:  Obama's Syria Meanderings Border On Incompetence.  This seemed a surprising lead into a column by Hunt, so I took the time to read what he had to say.  Apparently, someone else must have written the headline.  According to Hunt, Obama did have a problem on Syria:  he failed to properly convey to the public what he was doing.  There was nothing wrong with the policy, only the packaging of it.  In other words, this was more of the view that Obama's only problem was the lack of a better speech or photo op.  It is a view that one frequently hears from the White House itself.

Sadly, the world does not care about Obama's speeches or his photo ops.  The world does not respond to way that the liberal media does.  The rest of the globe lives in the real world, and that means that they value actions and results.  That also means that the rest of the world understands that Obama not only lost with regard to Syria, but also he was humiliated by Putin.  Whether or not you like president Obama, it is not a good thing for the USA to have its president humiliated on the world stage.

Could someone explain this to Al Hunt?  Please?
