One More Illegal Act From Obama

A federal court ruled yesterday that the new water regulations from the EPA which attempted to expand that power of that agency over small water systems like ponds and even big puddles was beyond the scope of the agency's authority.  The court issued a preliminary injunction against the enforcement of that rule which was to go into effect today.  The suit had been brought by the Attorneys General of 13 states.  It is a major victory for those trying to stop the illegal power grabs by the Obama administration.

So what is the response from president Obama?  The government announced that despite the court ruling, it would operate under the new rules anyway.  The government spokesman said that the suit was by "only" 13 states, so the injunction applies only to those 13 states.  In the other 37 states, the new rules will be applied.

So which act by Obama is worse:  issuing new and clearly illegal rules or enforcing those illegal rules after the court rules that they are illegal?
