So Who Will Fox Pick to Replace Tucker Carlson

Last week Fox News dumped Tucker Carlson.  Yawn.  Does it really matter?  Yawn.  Who will Fox pick to fill the hole in the evening programming?  Yawn  Does anyone really care?

I don't.

In the last three years, I probably watched Tucker's show twice.  That still puts Tucker ahead of MSNBC and CNN.

Dems Blatantly Suppressing Voting Rights But No Media Mentions It

Over the last few election cycle a constant refrain from the main stream media has been that Republicans havee been trying to take measures that would suppress votes by minorities.  I'm sire you've heard my favorite (and by that I mean the most ridiculous) complaint by the Dems and their supporters in the media, namely that new laws in Georgia prohibit anyone passing out water to voters standing in line at the polls.  For some unknown reason, it is just assumed that minorities are dissuaded from voting due to thirst while Whites in Georgia are more like camels, able to go for long stretches without water.  How ridiculous,  Still, it's just another phony claim by the Dems and their media allies.

But have you heard that the Democrats have passed new rules that will bar any delegates at the 2024 convention from New Hampshire.  That's right, the Dems are barring votes to the entire state of NH.  That's voter suppression on a grand scale,  The Dems have done this to New Hampshire voters because the DNC wants the first primary to be in South Carolina instead of NH because Joe Biden doesn't do well in NH.

Imagine for a moment what the media reaction would be to a move by Republicans to bar convention delegates from DC having a say at the 2024 convention.  It would be denounced endlessly as racist voter suppression.

Rights For Me But Not for Thee

In general boycotts don't work.  It's really impossible to get a sizeable group to boycott a product for a long time.  Even so, boycotts remain a big tactic  of "social justice" groups.  Just a few weeks ago, the NY Times wrote a lengthy article applauding how certain advertisers would not place their ads on the Tucker Carlson show.  That's why it's so funny to watch the left wing media outlets condemn as unAmerican the current boycotts against Budweiser for its use of a prominent trans personality to promote Bud Lite.  Similarly, the same media is apoplectic about a proposed boycott of Disney for its support of extremist gay activists.

Look, the reality is that Disney and Budweiser are free to use anyone to promote their products, just as other advertisers could chose not to use Tucker Carlson to promote theirs.  Consumers are also free to use whatever criteria they want to decide what products to buy.  It's ridicuous and hypocritical, however, for media like the Times or NBC to applaud one side and to condemn the other as unAmerican.

Lies vs Lies

Beginner Ny in 2016 and continuing for at least 3 years, CNN and MSNBC reported every day about the ties between the Trump campaign and Russia to fix the 2016 election. By May of 2017, the special prosecutor knew that there was no such conspiracy. In fact, the dossier that was the primary “evidence “ of the conspiracy was a total fraud paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign. By August of 2017, MSNBC and CNN knew the claims of Trump Russia collusion were totally untrue. They kept reporting the lies anyway

I mention this because of the reaction today by these two networks to the Fox settlement with Dominion. Oh the horror!  Fox reported lies!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not in favor of tv networks reporting lies. I just can’t take the hypocrisy of the left wing networks feigned my upset at Fox when what they did was 100 times worse.
