CNN is reporting that the Biden campaign is considering going to court to get an injunction against the Iowa Democrat party releasing partial returns from yesterday's caucus. The party says that they will release "some" of the results at 5 tonight.
This is something that you just can't make up.
First, a day after the caucus finished, the party headquarters in Des Moines only supposely has partial results. Who are they trying to kid? It just doesn't take that long to add up the results from each caucus site. There's no reason why only partial results would be released except so that the Democrat bosses in Iowa can tailor the partial results to make things look good for whatever candidate they favor. These people already look like fools. Still, if they actually couldn't get the results out last night, they should wait until they have final numbers before releasing them.
Second, what kind of a moron thinks that a court is going to issue an injunction ordering a political party not to announce partial results? The government can't tell anyone that they can't say something like this. There's no legal basis for such a ruling. Biden is making himself look both desperate and idiotic to let it be known that he is considering such an action.
