Still more Wikileaks

The latest from Wikileaks is that the site has released secret documents listing sites which the United States considers vital to its national security. In other words, this is a list of place, the destruction of which would have animmediate negative effect on the USA.

To me, this latest revelation goes so far over the line, that it seems an act of war. Revealing private chatter from the army or the state department is noisome and may affect the US negatively, but it seems more like something that might appear in a US newspaper if it had the chance. Detailed lists of the most tempting military targets, on the other hand, are a blueprint to an enemy of where best to strike.

Because this goes so far over the line, I believe that the government would be fully within its rights to seek an authorization from Congress to include wikileaks in the war on terror. After that, it may be time to introduce mr. Assange and his compatriots to the predator drone. I do not see how Obama can sit by and do nothing when secrets this damaging are being exposed daily on the web.
