Didn't Take Long

It came even faster than I expected.  CNN is reporting that in a court filing, "DOJ revealed in a court filing that it has two dozen emails related to the Trump's involvement in the withholding of millions in security assistance to Ukraine"

In other words, as soon as the Democrats lost the fight over witnesses, CNN rushed out another "bombshell" report about all the stuff that the Senate didn't see.  No doubt, CNN is part of the new "coverup" talking point.

But here's the problem: we're back to fake news.  CNN says in its report that there are 24 emails involving Trump from as early as June of 2019.  Actually, what the DOJ says in a court filing that it has two dozen emails that involve "the President, the Vice President, or the President's immediate advisors" which need to be kept confidential under the doctrine of executive privilege.  That is standard language used for executive privilege.  It doesn't mean that the President was involved in even a single one of the emails.

CNN goes on to state in the report, "Trump and his allies have repeatedly made unfounded and false claims to allege that the Bidens acted corruptly in Ukraine."

Unfounded and false?  Really?  The only thing unfounded and false is for CNN to claim that allegations of corruption by the Bidens in Ukraine are unfounded and false.  The truth is that the corruption by Old Joe Biden is BLATANT.

So the lying from the media about the impeachment issues just goes on and on and on.
