Here's the most amazing statistic that came out of the Iowa Caucuses: Among Democrat voters who are between the ages of 18 and 29, Bernie Sanders won by 84 to 14% according to the entrance polls. That's a staggering result. Hillary is not losing because she, herself, is an old grandmother. Sanders is older and looks much older than Clinton. Nope, Clinton is being totally rejected by young Democrats because they don't have nostalgia to motivate them. Many older Democrats remember the Bill Clinton days as being great for the party and the nation. A voter who today is 18, was just two years old when Bill left the White House. For these voters, Bill is just another old white-haired guy who had problems like the ones that brought down Bill Cosby.
What this all means is that the Republicans have a chance to get a substantial portion of the youth vote for the first time in a while. Imagine a choice between Granny Clinton and Marco Rubio or even Ted Cruz. Granny can do all of her angry shouting act for these voters, but they're going to see the difference between Clinton and Rubio for themselves. If the opt for Rubio, Clinton's chances are dead. Moreover, if the vision of the screaming granny doesn't attract these voters and they just stay home, it still puts a major blockage ahead of Hillary's campaign.
