A Different Kind Of H-Bomb

When the first nuclear weapons were built at the end of WW II, they were fission bombs or A-bombs.  After a few years, the mechanism was switched to fusion bombs or H-bombs.  Today, however, we have a different kind of H-bomb, although it is still powered by fusion.  The H now stand not for hydrogen, but for Hillary, and fusion is not the atomic reaction but the name of Fusion GPS which was the Democrat smear group given the task of smearing President Trump during the last election.  Fusion is the group that "compiled" the so called Trump dossier about the supposed escapades of Mr. Trump in Moscow.  Fusion is the group that dreamt up the phony story about the President hiring hookers to urinate on a bed in a hotel room in Moscow because president Obama had slept there.  Fusion came up with the most ridiculous type of smear stories and then spread the material around.  The dossier was "leaked" to all sorts of media which, even though it hated Trump, saw the material for the unsourced and phony crap that it was.  Finally, the material was shown by the FBI to the then President-elect himself and media like CNN ran with the story based upon the "news" that it had been shown to Trump.

It wasn't clear at the time who had paid Fusion GPS to dream up this BS dossier.  (By the way, notice that instead of calling it a file, the media always calls it a dossier?   That makes it sound much more official.)  There were rumors, but few, if any, facts who financed this.  Since then, we have heard that the FBI actually paid for putting this dossier together under the direction of Obama officials.  Then we heard that it was the Clinton campaign that was also involved.  I guess that means that H-bomb in this case means Hillary bomb and the Fusion comes from Fusion GPS.

This was one of the worst dirty tricks in American political history.  It was using the full power of the federal intelligence services against one side in a presidential campaign.  It's like Watergate, but Hillary doesn't have Nixon's charm.  Fusion GPS is pleading the Fifth Amendment to Congress and refusing to state who paid it to compile the dossier.  The only crime I can see here is failure to follow the campaign finance laws, so that points directly at Hillary.  I could mimic Harry Reid and announce that word on the street is that Hillary herself was involved but (like Reid) I have no evidence on that.  Still, if I were placing a bet on this, I would be rather sure that I would win.
