Uranium One -- An Update

The other day, I wrote about the lack of coverage in the mainstream media of the latest scandal involving both president Obama and Hillary Clinton, the Uranium One deal.  We learned this week for the first time that the FBI investigated the millions of dollars that flowed to Bill and Hillary Clinton and their foundation as Hillary was considering whether or not to approve a Russian purchase of a company called Uranium One which, among other things, owned a large chunk of all American domestic uranium production.  The FBI also investigated charges of bribery and intimidation by the Russians in gaining control of much of America's uranium output.  We also just learned that even though the FBI had detailed information about the alleged bribes and threats and corruption, Attorney General Holder kept that information from the people considering the deal, from Congress and from the public.  We don't know if Obama knew about it, although it seems hard to imagine that he did not.  So we have a major scandal involving Russia corrupting the US government to get control of American uranium.  It's a big story.

So how much coverage has there been in the mainstream media?  I checked ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN.  As of today, the only one who covered the story was MSNBC for less than a minute.  The network anchor reported that Sean Hannity would be likely to discuss the story.  Then they had a reporter say that this is an old story broken by the NY Times in 2015.  That's it.  It was a false story.  The first story was broken by Peter Schweitzer in his book Clinton Cash.  Until this week, however, we never knew that Holder and Obama likely covered up an FBI investigation to protect Hillary Clinton.

No one else covered the story in the mainstream media.  It's disgusting how dishonest they are.
