Yesterday saw the release of an early poll in the race for the senate seat in Masachusetts in 2012. obviously, the poll is way too early to mean much, but the results were startling nevertheless. The seat in question is the one that Scott Brown won in a special election in January of 2010. His upset victory to take the seat was electrifying.
The poll pitted Brown against his two most likely Democrat opponents. Brown beat one by 26 points and the other by 27 points. In each poll, Brown had a solid majority of the voters. And this is Massachusetts! All of thos lists of possible senate turnovers in 2012 include Scott Brown since his is a Republican running in Massachusetts. These polls indicate that his name should come off the list for now at least.
