today's big news is the surrender by president obama to the inevitable; Khalid Sheik Muhammed is now going to be tried in Gitmo before a military tribunal. According to the main stream media, however, that is not the big news. I just was driving and listening to ABC radio news. That outlet has as its number one story that Southwest Airlines is going to inspect all of its 737 airliners since that was the model that had a metal fatigue problem a few days ago. Since these inspections were also in the news over the weekend, today's version of the story is hardly a pressing new matter. I guess that ABC cannot bring itself to highlight Obama's defeat. No surprise there.
