Yesterday, I saw the post by Al Gore on his web site in which he blamed the heavy snowfalls this winter on global warming. According to Al, the extra moisture in the air is due to warming of the earth. Well, here is a news flash Mr. Gore. In the area of which you spoke, the Northeast USA, there has not been an increase in the precipitation levels from the norm. what has changed is that instead of the precipitation falling some as rain and some as snow, we have gotten only snow due to colder temperatures. In other words, Mr. Gore, your explanation explains nothing. I guess your future is so wrapped up in there actually being global wrming that you feel you have to just make things up to support it.
Let me be clear: I do not know if there is global warming or not and i certainly do not know if there is man made global warming. The main data used in the past to justify the existence of global warming came from the numbers put forth at East Anglia University in the UK, the very numbers that were revealed to have been distorted in order to get the result that the researchers wanted. In other words, we have no data that clearly shows the existence of global warming. Indeed, the most recent data shows that since 2000, the earth has not been warming at all. Obviously, if there is no global warming, there is also no man made global warming. It would make sense to have a national effort to amalgamate the accurate data needed to determine if there has been a world wide warming trend before we take action to combat it. There is no point in spending billions of dollars and having millions lose their jobs just to fight something which does not exist. Of course, then there are idiots like Al gore who have made their reputations and livelihoods from promoting this stuff whether or not it is true.
Let me say it again: Al Gore is an idiot.
