Obama's approval numbers -- an update

Remember two weeks ago when the media was filled with stories about how President obama's approval numbers were soaring? guess what? Today's presidential approval tracking poll from Rasmussen shows 46% approval and 53% disapproval. Those numbers have been essentially consistent for the last three days. did you see the stories about how Obama's numbers had gone back down to majority disapproval?

I recommend that no one hold his or her breath waiting to see the main stream media report on the decline in the obama approval numbers. The truth is that for the last six months, there has been a small majority that disapproves of Obama's job performance. There have been ups and downs in the numbers, but the trend has been remarkably consistent. Of course, the great show of presidential prowess in dealing with the situation in Egypt cannot have helped Obama's numbers much. Nothing makes a president look worse than to be ignored in the way Obama is being ignored by the Egyptians.
