Crocodile Tears from Susan Rice

In an unsurprising move, Susan Rice withdrew her name from consideration to be Secretary of State because of the uproar surrounding her behavior with regard to the attack on the US embassy in Benghazi last September 11th. Rice lamented that she "was saddened by the partisan politics" surrounding her actions. UNBELIEVABE!!!

Let's be clear: Rice went on five different Sunday morning news programs to put out false information to the American people. She did this in order to soften the political blow to the Obama campaign as a result of the successful terrorist attack on our embassy coming just a week after Obama and the Democrats told the country that al Qaeda was destroyed. Rice either knew or clearly should have known that what she was saying was phony. So Rice goes out and lies for political reasons, but now she laments the partisan politics that surround the response to her actions.

The truth is that Rice got caught telling lies. America is better off for her withdrawal. Let's hope that she also resigns as ambassador to the UN. Maybe she can get a job with MSNBC.
