Yesterday, I wrote about the worrying signs of activity at the sites of Syrian chemical weapons storage that seem to indicate that the Assad forces are planning to deploy these weapons soon. For those of you who think that I am being overly dramatic, you should be aware that this morning, the American Secretary of State issued a warning to Syria that use of such chemical weapons would be a red line for America that would prompt action by US forces. Clinton did not say what that response would be (probably a strongly worded letter), but she did issue the warning nevertheless.
