The audience at CNN has disappeared. Well, maybe "disappeared" is the wrong word. What has happened is that these people have just switched to a different network. Last night, the CNN show "Crossfire" had a total viewing audience of 177,000. To put that in context, Special Report on Fox News had an audience of just under 2.4 million at the same time. That is roughly 14 times larger than the CNN audience. Even Al Sharpton on MSNBC had four times the CNN audience.
Most likely, we will soon see some major changes at CNN. Pretty soon, expect to hear James Earl Jones announce "This used to be CNN."
