Another Major Breakthrough in the Benghazi Cover Up

Sharyl Attkisson is the reporter who left CBS News because her stories critical of the Obama Administration were not being put on the air.  I do not know where she works at the moment, but she still posts stories on her own website.  Today, there is a breakthrough story there.  Attkisson found another smoking gun in the newly released emails pertaining to Benghazi.  In this email, Assistant Secretary of State Beth Jones reports that on the morning of September 12, 2012, she met with the Libyan ambassador who initially told her that the attack in Benghazi might have been the work of elements of the old Gaddafi regime.  Jones, however, reports "I told him the group that conducted the attacks—Ansar Al Sharia—is affiliated with Islamic extremists,”   The email was sent to the entire top management of the State Department except for Hillary Clinton.

Think about this.  The night before, while the attack was still ongoing, secretary Clinton released a statement blaming the youtube video for the violence.  At the start of the next morning, a high official from the State Department is telling Libya that the attack is the work of Ansar Al Sharia, a part of al Qaeda.  That means that the State Department was well aware even at that time that this was a terror attack and had nothing to do with the video.

Remember that for the next two plus weeks, Clinton, Obama and all the others in the administration blamed the video.  They have since told us that they relied on what they had been told.  But now we have definitive proof that the state department knew right away that this was an attack by terrorists and they even knew which group was responsible.  The president, Mrs. Clinton and all the others LIED to the American people.
