Unbelievable-- No, I Actually Believe It

Randi Weingarten is the head of the American Federation of Teachers.  She's a labor leader for teachers and also (no surprise here) a member of the Democrat National Committee.  She also supports Keith Ellison for the position of chairman of the DNC.  That's the same Keith Ellison who used to spend his days defending Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, the same Farrakhan who called Judaism a "gutter religion" and the same Farrakhan who wanted to separate all blacks from "white devils".  Now that all that history about Ellison (and much more) is being brought to the fore, Weingarten is busy claiming that Ellison is being "swiftboated".  Here's a woman who leads educators who seems unable to recognize reality.  No one is creating anything false about Ellison; they are just publicizing his past words and deeds.  That's called telling the truth, not swiftboating
Just think about the reaction from people like Weingarten when some racist like David Duke endorsed Donald Trump and Trump did not denounce Duke every time he spoke.  Trump denounced Duke, but because he did not do it fast enough or often enough according to the left, it made him a racist too.  On the other hand, when someone like Ellison is exposed by his OWN actions as a racist and and anti-Semite, it's swiftboating to mention it.  This is the sort of BS that got Donald Trump elected.  If the Democrats actually name a racist and anti-Semite as their chair, then they deserve years in the wilderness to which they are heading.  The only ones that Ellison might attract to the Democrat party are people who sympathize with terror groups like Hamas.

I know that the Dems live in a bubble.  I would think that the Trump victory should have pierced that bubble in a major way.  If they really nominate Ellison as chair of the party, however, we will all know that nothing will penetrate that bubble.
