Obama's response to Iran - 2

We now have president Obama himself discussing the Iranian backed terror plot to set off bombs and assassinate diplomatic personnel in the USA. At a joint press conference with the president of South Korea today, Obama was asked about the terror plot. Obama criticized Iran for a “pattern of dangerous and reckless behavior,” and said that it must be held accountable for its actions. Of course, Obama did not say how it will be held accountable; he just said that the USA was speaking to its allies and to the UN. Obama also refused to say if the actions by the Iranians constituted an act of war.

So there you have it. The response from the president of the United States of America to an attempt by Iran to commit mass murder and terrorism in our capital city is oral criticism. The mullahs must be soooooo upset. Imagine, Obama says that they do not play well with others. Obama won't even say that this is an act of war.

We already saw the Obama strategy of leading from behind in Libya. Maybe this something new: not leading, just talking.

I would not care if Obama said that he had insufficient proof that the Iranians were behind this and that he would not act absent such proof. I also would not care if Obama said that he did not consider this an act of war and that it is not something that in his opinion merited an armed response. I also would not care if Obama announced that in view of the plot, the USA had attacked the Iranian nuclear sites. At least in those responses, we could see that we had a leader who was in control and taking charge. Instead, we have a mouth that talks and talks and talks. It is truly terrible.
