This morning George Will said that Herman Cain is an "entrepreneurial charlatan" who was disrespectful to the "presidential selection process". Who appointed Will the arbiter of propriety? And further, what in the world is Will talking about?
Herman Cain may or may not have had an affair. Okay. Does that make him an entrepreneurial charlatan? Does it make him disrespectful of the process? NO! Will does not like it that a businessman like Cain with no political experience entered the race and did well for a time. Will is also upset that Cain wrote a book and had a book tour in the at the same time as the campaign. Well too bad for Will. No one put that shriveled talking head in charge of who can run and who cannot. That decision belongs to the American people.
