Lately, the already constant barrage from the left to attack President Trump has gotten worse and worse. In the last week alone, we've had a bunch of bogus stories like these:
1. The mainstream media reported that in 2018, Trump had a series of mini strokes for which he rushed to Walter Reed Hospital in DC. At the time, the same media reported that Trump had suffered a heart attack. The truth is that Trump went unannounced for part of his annual physical. The heart attack and the mini strokes were pure fiction. As the President put it when responding to the stories, he would not have gone to the hospital for only an hour or two if he had suffered either a heart attack or a stroke. Rather obviously, the media is trying to make Trump appear as weak and sickly as Biden.
2. The media is now screaming that in 2018, President Trump called the WW I American soldiers buried in cemeteries in France, "losers" and "suckers". He also is reported in the same story to have called John McCain a "loser" and to have announced upon McCain's death that the federal government would do nothing to honor McCain.
This is a rather vile but obvious lie. Again, the President pointed out that he had to approve all the steps taken to honor McCain and he did so. President Trump also sent Air Force One to Arizona to bring the McCain family and the body to DC.
As for calling war dead "losers" or "suckers", that is something that is completely opposite of the constant conduct of President Trump. Those are the kinds of insults of US servicemen that would come from the left (which is probably why the lie seemed plausible to them.) President Trump goes often to visit wounded servicemen in military hospitals. He worked tirelessly to finally end the mess at the VA which just festered under Obama/Biden. He's very concerned about veterans and currently serving soldiers. He would never disrespect them.
3. Trump visited Kenosha the other day. The media reported ahead of time that there was "overwhelming opposition" to the visit. (That's a direct quote from CBS News.) When Trump got to Kenosha, there were no problems. Instead, the visit was a success and there were sizable crowds. Biden initially said he would NOT go to Kenosha because it would cause too many problems. Once Trump had been there, Biden changed his mind and went there. Hardly anyone showed up. The big news of the visit was that Biden was caught giving out pre-scripted questions to supposedly random people so that they could be address to the former VP at a town hall. Biden could deal with real questions.
4. The man wanted by police for the shooting death murder of an unarmed Trump supported in Portland was killed in the past few hours after he was confronted by federal marshals. The guy pulled a gun on the marshals and they shot back. On Twitter, however, the big story from the left is that the President had tweeted about the suspect and within an hour he had been killed by federal marshals.
It's enough lies already.
