Obama and Oil

Well today for the first time Obama mentioned that natural gas is part of the solution to our energy needs. It truly must have pained him to be forced to speak favorably about nat gas. The truth is that natural gas is abundant in the US and can supply a much bigger portion of our energy needs. It is not solar or wind, however, so Obama does not like it cause it actually might work. The truth is that it is hard to imagine that the president of the USA could be hostile to oil. That is much like his being hostile to the growth of the economy -- wait, he is hostile to most growth. Obama only likes growth if it is growth of the government. Private enterprise is not a concept he truly endorses. I know he speaks about it sometimes, but I am talking about his true beliefs, not what some writer puts on his teleprompter for him to say. Remember the last time Obama spoke without notes about the value of the free enterprise system? Of course not -- he never says such things.
