There are a few articles today about how the stock of Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe has risen after the election results in his state last Tuesday. It's ridiculous.
McAuliffe remains a Clinton acolyte. The last thing the Democrats need is yet another Clintonian running for president. Admittedly, McAuliffe could not possibly be as poor a candidate as Hillary was, but that is not enough. I would think that the Dems would want to disassociate themselves from all the Clinton corruption that cost them the 2016 election.
Still, maybe the Democrats ought to pick McAuliffe. It would be another way to keep President Trump in office for another four years.
