A Few Visions Worth Seeing

In the last few days, there have been a few moments that have to be remembered for a long time.

1.  President Trump at the NATO meeting told the heads of state that Germany's tentative deal with Russia to build a pipeline under the Baltic Sea so as to import huge quantities of natural gas from Russia was an extremely bad idea.  He's correct.  Imagine we get to a very tense confrontation between Russia and NATO and Putin threatens to cut of nat gas deliveries to the Germans.  If this deal goes ahead, that would mean that Germany would lose 70% of its energy needs.  The German economy would be crippled, so the Germans would surely cave in to whatever demand Putin made.  The pipeline is a crazy deal.  Someone had to say this to the Germans and Trump is the one with the courage to do it.

2.  Representative Louie Gohmert today confronted super anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok at the hearings which are still underway.  After endless lying by Strzok, Gohmert went in for the kill.  He asked Strozok why the Committee should believe Strzok when he had obviously lied repeatedly to his wife about his affair with co-worker Lisa Page.  The Democrats, who regularly call people insane, Nazis, fascists, racists and the like went crazy because Gohmert mentioned Strzok's affair with Page.  It was a moment of both clarity and hilarity with regard to the Democrats.  They can dish it out, but they just can't take it.
