Donald Segretti must be pleased

During the 1972 Presidential election which gave rise to the Watergate scandal, the Nixon campaign had a dirty tricks operation to try to discredit the campaigns of the principal Democratic contenders. Thus, for example, during the Pennsylvania primary, this operation had folks come to disrupt Muskie rallies by chanting pro-Humphrey slogans and the same folks were sent to Humphrey rallies to disrupt them with Muskie slogans. The plan was to discredit both campaigns. This effort was a national one which was run by Donald Segretti, a master of dirty tricks. Segretti's exploits were detailed in the testimony before the Senate Watergate Committee.

In a move reminiscent of Segretti, the Democrats have now organized a group call crash the tea party.org to carry out dirty tricks against the tea parties. This new organization is going to send people to tea party rallies to blend in as tea party protesters and then to shout racist, homophobic or intolerant chants. As we all know, the main stream media has been putting this narrative forward with no proof. Crashtheteaperty.org is going to give the media something it can show. In other words, this new group will plant offensive acts in the tea party events so that there will be proof to discredit the tea parties.

I think it is time for the leaders of the Democrats to come forward and disown this new group. Indeed, if these folks do things that might intimidate blacks or other minority groups, the Justice Department should be ordered to infiltrate this group and stop it -- since their actions will be criminal. I will not hold my breath, however, waiting for the Dems to act. In liberal eyes, everything a conservative says is racist and nothing a liberal says or does is racist. these folks are truly slime.

If anyone wants to check out the site for themselves, go to http://crashtheteaparty.org/ and see these purveyors of hate for the scum that they truly are.
