In the last week, the White House has leaked to the press President Obama's plan to impose a peace deal on the Israelis and Palestinians. In today's Jerusalem Post comes the true answer from Israel in the form of a poll of Israelis. what number think it appropriate for obama to impose such a plan? The number is an overwhelming 9% who think such action by Obama would be proper. There are few things that unite Isaelis when it comes to politics. It appears that Barack Obama is one person who can unite them. Almost every single Israeli rejects his proposed course of action. there has never been a US president so rejected by the people of Israel.
I guess this is the change Obama promised. Unfortunately, change here comes with the dashing of all hope for progress.
