Who organized this?

Over the last few weeks, we have seen a major effort by the Democrats and their allies in the media to marginalize their opponents as racist idiots who have nothing substantive to say. In the process, the Democrats have attacked the 58% of the people who want to have Obamacare repealed (according to the latest Rasmussen poll). While that may be bad politics, it might also prove effective if the Dems can force those who oppose their policies to shut up lest they be called racists. The attack does not seem to be working so far, but we will see in the fullness of time. Nevertheless, I have been wondering who it was who came up with what appears to be a concerted effort by the Democrats to implement this strategm.

My conclusion is that we are seeing a plan that is directed by the White House. Remember, it was during the 2008 primary campaign that Bill and Hillary Clinton were attacked as racists by surrogates for Obama. President (then candidate) Obama always stayed above the fray and talked about the post racial nature of his candidacy. Nevertheless, his supporters made loud and repeated attacks on the Clintons as racist nearly every time that the Clintons started a new avenue of attack on Obama that showed some signs of success.

Now, we see many of the same tell tale signs. First, the whole thing seems contrived. The day of the passage of the Healthcare bill in the House, the protesters outside the Capitol were parted by a group of congressmen from the Congressional Black Caucus who were "walking to the Capitol". Strangely, this group normally used the underground passage to get from the office building to the Capitol, but they chose that day, when there were thousands of protesters outside the building to walk through the crown rather than under it. Even more strangely, the group of Congressmen had multiple video cameras following them to record their walk to the Capitol. Normally, a walk from the office building to the Capitol is not newsworthy, but somehow, the Congressmen had coverage. Finally, in the strangest part of the tale, the Congressment reported being called the N word by many in the crowd and claimed that they had been spat upon. This is strange because not one of the many videos of this event records any indication of any such misconduct by the crowd. Nevertheless, once the Congressmen reported this "outrage" the media picked up the story and ran with it. We were treated for days to claims that the tea partiers were threatening the poor Democrats, that there had been racial attacks on the congressmen and the like. Of course, the truth which came out was that the only congressman whose offices were actually attacked was Eric Cantor of Virginia, a Republican who was attacked by leftists because he opposed the healthcare bill. Further, despite a $100,000 reward for proof of the racial namecalling attack, none has been produced. Indeed, the congressmen involved in the "incident" have all moved away from the cameras and gone into hiding. Despite all of this, the mainstream media has not even reported about the controversy as to whether or not the racial attacks ever took place.

Now we are learning of a group organized to infiltrate the tea parties so as to make them look like racists and homophobes. Indeed, the group says that it hates the tea partiers and wants to destroy them. This is a demented group indeed. As of yet, there is no mention of the group in the mainstream media. Still, the game plan is right out of the one used by the Obama campaign.

In my opinion the White house has to be held accountable for these offensive and ridiculous machinations. It is time for Obama to come forward and expressly condemn tactics like this. He should condemn the Congressmen who perpetrated this story. He should renounce the anti tea party group and set the administration forces against this attack on free speech. I doubt we will ever see such action, however, so the only conclusion that one can draw is clear. Obama, like most Democrats, sees racism behind everyone who opposes them. Even when there is no racism, Obama like most Democrats is prepared to charge that their opponents are racist -- just for the potential political gain.
