18,000 Reasons Obama must go

Today's unemployment report showed that the economy created 18,000 jobs in June and the unemployment rate went up again, this time to 9.2%. With all due respect to president Obama, this is not a bump in the road. It is, in fact, a nightmare for the American people, unfortunately not a nightmare that wakes Obama up at night. To make things even worse, the numbers for May were revised down to about 25,000 jobs created. That means that for two months the total of new jobs is 43,000. About a year ago, the administration told us that by now the economy would be creating 500,000 jobs each month. So, by their own standards, the Obama administration is just behind by a million jobs for the last two months.

It is also worth noting that this is only the second time in the last 70 years that the unemployment rate went up three months in a row when the economy was not in a recession. It is true that we may actually be in a recession, but it does not appear likely to be the truth. In other words, this is the worst recovery in modern times. Indeed, even if one goes back to 1900, this is the slowest recovery from any recession on record.

Surely, president Obama will use the opportunity to tell us how he was left with this mess when he tool office. So what? After all these years, the president ought to have implemented policies that were making things better. Instead, things keep deteriorating and Obama has not plan whatsoever to do anything to help the economy. We need someone as president who can lead the country away from the abyss.

Obama has got to go!!!!!
