The governor of Oregon has announced that she will refuse to send Oregon national guard troops to the Mexican border if the order to do so comes from President Trump. That is not her choice to make. Under the law, the President can nationalize national guard troops at any time he decides there is a need to do so which fits certain criteria. The determination whether or not those criteria have been met, however, is made by -- you guessed it -- the President of the United States. If the governor tries to block the deployment of the Oregon national guard (which may or may not happen), she will be committing a federal crime.
It would be nice to see the federal marshals step in and take the governor away in handcuffs. There has to be respect for the law. These lawless Democrats who push sanctuary cities and now who want to prevent enforcement of our borders are nothing more than people who are -- you guessed it again -- obstructing justice. Arrest her and let her spend time in jail. It might do her some good. It certainly would do wonders for the rule of law.
