Years ago, there used to be an entire genre of humor called Polish Jokes. They always centered on something that a really stupid person said or did. for obvious reasons, they fell out of favor. Out of favor, that is, until today when president Obama tried to bring them back. Obama was giving a speech in a place called Poland in Ohio. Perhaps inspired by memories of Polish jokes, Obama told the crowd that had assembled to see him that today's jobs report was "a step in the right direction." We get terrible news on the employment front and Obama says it is a step in the right direction. Is he nuts? Maybe he is just stupid. I wonder what Obama would call sending a dying person to a hospice for his last days? Would that too be a step in the right direction?
