New York Lack Of Values

The GOP primary in New York has non-stop chatter about Ted Cruz's statement some months back that Donald Trump has "New York values".  There's been enough written about that.  Today, I think it's better that we focus on the New York politicians who seem to lack values of any sort.  Consider this:  in the last year, two of the three most powerful people in the state have been convicted of criminal conduct.  Both the head of the Assembly and the State Senate are soon heading to prison for corruption.  Meanwhile, governor Cuomo has been under investigation, and he has not yet escaped indictment for his own misconduct.  Now word comes that the mayor of New York City is being investigated by the FBI for criminal misconduct in connection with fundraising.  The corruption seems to have no limits.

To be fair, neither governor Cuomo or mayor DeBlasio have been convicted of a crime, so it's still possible that neither is corrupt.  It doesn't look good for that to be the case, however.  Remember, the people doing the investigations all come from the Obama administration, and they would not be doing politically motivated investigations of Democrats like Cuomo and DeBlasio.

And let's not forget that former senator from New York, Hillary Clinton.  She should be known as "the face that launch'd a thousand investigations".  Indeed, the FBI may have to consider setting up a new criminal division within the bureau just to handle Clinton related matters.

What's wrong with these people?  And what's wrong with the people of New York who elect them?
