Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury may have caught the attention of the Washington denizens and the mainstream media, but it really hasn't hit home with the American people. Of course, it didn't help Wolff's supposed inside view of the Trump White House when he said that he knew that some of what he reported were lies. It also didn't help that the book went so overboard with obviously false nonsense that any normal person with common sense would recognize it as BS. A new poll finds that only 36% of those asked believe that the book is accurate.
Think about that. We can be certain that 36% of the American people have not read Wolff's book. Indeed, other than the Bible, the is probably no book that has been read by that large a percentage of the US population. What that actually means is that for the most part, the people who think the crazy things Wolff says about Trump are true are the people who already hate Trump and want him out of office. These are people who would believe it if told that the President holds weekly events in the oval office where infants are murdered.
The real point is that the other 64% of the American people do not accept the book as accurate. These are the people whose votes will be sought by the GOP in 2018 and by Trump himself in 2020. For all the attention given to Fire and Fury, it seems to have had no real effect on the nation.
