The State Department has confirmed that Hillary Clinton did not actually turn over all of her work related emails as she claims she did. So far, fifteen work emails from Clinton that were obtained by a House committee from Clinton crony/aide Sidney Blumenthal have turned out NOT to be among those turned over by Hillary in her document dump. What does this all mean?
1. Hillary is a liar. That's no surprise.
2. We have no idea yet how many emails Hillary and her advisers decided they would keep secret and destroyed rather than turning them over to the State Department. The fifteen discovered so far are just ones that the House happened to find among the Blumenthal documents. Most likely there are hundreds more. It would be a good idea for the House to subpoena the email of Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin immediately. Most likely they would find hundreds more email from Hillary that were wrongly withheld.
3. All that nonsense from Hillary and Bill Clinton about the lack of a "smoking gun" is now officially proven wrong. This is not a ploy by the "vast right wing conspiracy". It is a statement from the Obama State Department, hardly a right wing group.
4. Hillary broke the law. As Secretary of State, Hillary was required to use the federal email system so that the records of her communications could be kept for the future. When the news of Hillary's private email server first broke, the Clintons said that Hillary was allowed by law to use her own system so long as she turned over her work email to the State Department. That claim was incorrect, but it was Hillary's defense to the illegality of what she had done. This latest revelation from the State Department proves that Hillary did not even meet the minimal requirements that she and Bill said the law placed on her. Hillary broke the law, and there is no excuse anymore.
5. Hillary is even more open to blackmail by foreign governments than we previously thought. God only knows what is in the emails that she destroyed rather than turn over. Imagine what happens if a president Hillary Clinton is suddenly confronted by an emissary from Vladimir Putin who happens to show the president the text of twenty really damaging emails that she sent but never turned over. After all, we know that the Russians and the Chinese almost certainly hacked into the Clinton server
and got emails in that category. Would Hillary put her political future over the good of the country? It was hard to even write that last question without laughing.
