Yesterday, I hoped that we could all wait for the facts regarding Charleston. Today, while we still don't know everything, we do know enough to see the killings for what they are: senseless hate crimes by a mentally disturbed guy. Let's try not to politicize this. The families of those who were killed deserve more than for the death of their loved ones to become just another rallying cry. There will be ample time for politics in a week. For now, let's have a dignified and loving response to both the hate and the terrible loss.
