The first procedural hurdle for the fast track trade authority made its way through the senate today. The senators are trusting president Obama both to negotiate a fair and beneficial trade deal and then to be honest in the debate regarding passage which will follow. Obama cannot be trusted. He is so dishonest that he properly earns the nickname the Mullah of Mendacity. If you prefer, we could call him the Duke of Dishonesty or the Lord of the Lies. Whatever one calls him, however, it is clear that Obama is a pathological liar.
It's too bad that the senators gave Obama this additional power.
