Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

Here's a headline from Politico on an article about what president Obama said at the G-7 today:  "Obama, U.S. Lacks 'Complete Strategy' for Fighting ISIS".

The only question that Obama's statement raises is why is this news?  We have a president who cannot even decide what to call ISIL, ISIS, Daesh or whatever.  We have a president who thought even after ISIS took a series of cities in Iraq that this is just the jayvee team.  We have a president who has not managed to win any significant victories in the fight against ISIS over the last year.  But they think it's news that America (or more precisely Obama) does not have a strategy for fighting the terrorists?

It is often hard to imagine how the media writes this stuff.  The people at Politico have seen one defeat after another being inflicted on the Iraqi forces.  They've seen the lack of any coherent plan coming from Washington.  Nevertheless, they write about the nonsense Obama says as if it were something other than another lie put out there to act as an excuse for incompetent leadership.  NO, it's not incompetent leadership by Obama.  There is no leadership by Obama, incompetent or otherwise.

America needs a strategy for dealing with ISIS.  Right now, we have nothing.  Lies and distortions from Obama do not fill the void.
