We are now quite a ways into the reviews of the e-mails of Sarah Palin that has caused such excitement at the new Yrok Times and Washington Post that they felt obliged to enlist hordes of bloggers to help with the review. My guess is that by now essentially all of the e-mail has been read by quite a few people acting together although I doubt if anyone has read them in their entirety. The bombshells are being released every few minutes. Palin's position has been undermined dramatically. Oh wait. That's wrong. The truth is that after looking at something like 50,000 private e-mails, the press has found nothing. No smoking guns. No bombshells. No corruption. No of color language. No snarky comments. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero.
I am not a supporter of Palin for president, but I love her ability to get the media to go crazy. Imagine. The New York Times and the WaPo look idiotic for their frantic reviews of the Palin e-mail. It is a replay of the crazed coverage that these and other liberal media outlets gave to Palin's just completed bus tour in the Northeast. It is hard to understand what it is about Sarah that drives these folks so loco, but it is fun to watch. It seems her every move makes these folks look like the pompous and arrogant fools that they truly are.
