What's the Plan?

With things not going well in the economy, there is a fair question that has to be put forward to president Obama and the Obamacrats: what is your plan for helping restore growth to the economy? For the last two and a half years, we have seen the Obama policies put in place and we now have also seen the results. What is your plan?

As of now, we know that Obama does not like the Republican budget passed by the House. The only budget that Obama has put forth is one that the Senate voted down by 97 to 0. It had spending increases and no plan to control the deficit. It is dead and was totally rejected by Obama's own party. The Democrats who control the Senate have not put forward any plan for federal spending in 2012, even though it is a requirement of law that the Senate do so. So the question resurfaces: Tell us Mr. President what it is that you propose to do. We do not want to hear what you oppose. We expect you to lead, not legislate. You cannot just be against what the GOP proposes. You have to tell us what you think should be done. It is not too much to ask. Tell us, please!

There is also the question of what needs to be done to move the economy forward. This time, we are talking about things other than federal spending. Should the US promote natural gas automobiles to reduce oil imports and help domestic growth? There is a bill pending in Congress to do this, but Obama has not bothered to take a position on it. So what do you think, Mr. President? Could you tell us please?

How about tax policy? You tell us that you are in favor of modifying the US corporate tax structure to promote economic growth. As they say on SNL, "Really?"
Don't you think it is time to tell us what you propose? We do not just want a speech with the usual glittering generalities that you talk about. We need to see the actual plan. What is it? Do you really have one?

The sad truth is that Obama and the Obamacrats seem to have no plan for any of these issues. They control the government but their only move seems to be to blame the GOP and oppose anything that the Republicans propose. Mr. President, the ship of state is heading towards a large iceberg. We need a course change, and you are the one to select the new course. WHAT DO YOU PROPOSE?????

If you have nothing to propose then why not resign and let Joe Biden take over? He may be an idiot who cannot keep his foot out of his mouth, but maybe he could do better. We need a leader! Help!!
