Still Another Obama "Success" on Energy

Do you remember about six months ago when president Obama went to Brazil to discuss the offshore oil that was being drilled by that South American country? There was something of an uproar here since Obama had stopped drilling in the Gulf of Mexico by American companies and yet he was down in Brazil promoting the same sort of activity by foreign companies. Obama even gave the Brazilians a few billion dollars to help them pay for the oil development. He also told the Brazilians that the USA wanted to buy the oil that got produced.

Well now the other shoe has dropped. Brazil announced that the bulk of the oil produced in its offshore field will be sold to the Chinese. That's right, the USA help pay to develop the field and then the oil goes to China. American oil production has been supressed by Obama and his drilling moratoria. Then Obama killed the Keystone XL pipeline which would have brought 800,000 barrels of oil each day to the refineries in Texas. Now the USA is losing the ability to import Brazilian oil that we help pay for.

CONGRATULATIONS BARACK!
