Just when it appeared that we knew all there is to know about the vile ad run by the Obamacrats in which they falsely claim that Mitt Romney was somehow responsible for the death of Joe Soptic's wife from cancer because Soptic lost his health insurance when he was let go from a company owned by Bain Capital, the story got worse. We already knew that Soptic worked at his job for three years after Romney left Bain Capital. We already knew that Soptic was offered a job buyout which would have left him with plenty of funds to buy health insurance. We already knew that the Bain executive who actually ran Bain when it laid off Soptic is a major Obama backer. We already knew that Mrs. Soptic had insurance from her own job for many years after he husband left his job. We already knew that Mrs. Soptic was treated in a hospital when she began to have symptoms and the doctors discovered late stage cancer which killed her in three weeks, so the lack of health insurance had no impact. We alread knew that the Obama campaign lied when it said that the ad was from a super PAC and that it had no knowledge of the facts of the Soptic story; Stephanie Cutter, the Obama deputy campaign manager who claimed to know nothing of the story actually ran a conference call for the press a few months back in which Joe Soptic told his tale of woe and blamed Mitt Romney for his wife's death. Inother words, we already knew that the ad is a vile lie and that there is no connection between Romney and Mrs. Soptic's death, that the Obama campaign knows all about this but refuses to condemn the ad and that the Obama campaign itself was promoting this disgusting lie just a few months ago.
Well now we know that the Obama campaign websit itself is telling the Soptic story. Here is the link to the Obam site and its story on Soptic. You better check it out quickly. My guess is that by tomorrow Obama will have the story taken down and the Obama campaign will deny that the site ever had it up.
It is hard to imagine that there are just so many liars in the Obama campaign. Actually, given the president's penchant for telling lies, I guess it is no that hard to believe.
