More Smoke From the Clinton Guns

In the never ending battle by the Clinton campaign to discredit "Clinton Cash" and the corruption that it uncovered at the Clinton Foundation, the main defense has been that there are no smoking guns.  In other words, there are no documents that show Hillary or Bill accepting cash expressly in exchange for favors to be done by Hillary as Secretary of State.  That defense has been silly since, even for a criminal corruption charge, there is no need for such a document.  Indeed, there is so much evidence now of different and better treatment for those who either hired Bill to speak at exorbitant prices or "donated" to the Clinton Foundation, that a jury already has enough to convict.  Today, however, yet another item of information has surfaced that undermines the Clinton defense.  Sidney Blumenthal was on the payroll of the Clinton Foundation to the tune of $120,000 per year during the entire time that Hillary was Secretary of State.

Think about "Sid Vicious" (as Blumenthal is known in Washington) working for the Clinton Foundation.  We have been told by Clinton defenders that the foundation does charitable work around the world.  Blumenthal, however, is a political operative and an influence peddler.  When asked what Blumenthal did for the foundation, the answer from the inside came back the Sid focused his work "on highlighting the legacy of Clinton’s presidency."  That's from the Clinton side, not the attackers.  Blumenthal was paid by the foundation to do public relations to make the Clintons look good.  In other words, he was and remained a political operative.  That had nothing to do with charity of any sort.  And we know that was not the only one.  Other political operatives of the Clinton machine were paid as much as $400,000 per year for work for the foundation which funded the permanent Clinton campaign staff.

What this apparently boils down to is that huge companies and foreign governments and agents gave big bucks to Hillary and Bill to fund campaign operatives.  That's not legal.

I've said this before, but it's time to get that "Ready for Hillary" sign out again and hang it in front of Leavenworth Prison.
