The jury in Boston decided this afternoon that the Boston Marathon bomber should be put to death. It was clearly the correct decision. This scum killed and maimed a great many innocent people for no reason other than that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. His counsel kept asking for mercy for this scum, but the pleas were given all the weight that they deserved: none.
I hope that this guy rots in prison for a few years while his inevitable appeals make their way through the system. I also hope that no bleeding heart judge decides that there is some reason to avoid the death penalty. If there ever were a perfect candidate for the death penalty, this guy is it.
I know this all sounds harsh. It should. It's what he deserves.
