The news that Nancy Pelosi is going to break with tradition and seek the minority leader position in the House for the next session of congress is welcome news. A new leader could make noises about being bi-partisan or cooperating with Republicans and actually have some people other than the core Democrats believing what gets said. With pelosi, we already have seen her in action for long enough to know that she will never cooperate with Republicans unless she is setting a trap. This will make attempts by the Democrats to mislead the public much harder to carry out. In addition, with Pelosi's return, it keeps the public face of the Democrats as Obama, Reid and Pelosi, and we all know how truly successful that trio has been.
