I have always wondered just how far into his mouth vice president Biden could get his foot. Today, he seems to have managed to insert that foot so far into his mouth that his knee was lost to view. At a news conference in Philadelphia, Biden was asked for his reaction to the upcoming resignation of Pope Benedict. Biden's response: "I am not running."
Really? Biden thinks that the resignation due to poor health of a religious leader revered by hundreds of millions around the world is the time for a joke? Actually, maybe he wasn't joking. With Biden, you never know.
