The Right Wing Conspiracy Strikes Again

The right wing conspiracy is out with another attack on Hillary Clinton today.  This time, it's that bastion of hard right wing thought, the Washington Post, that is leading the charge.  The Post has a front page article today that reviews all the emails from Hillary's private unsecured server that were released by the State Department.  Those are the emails which, according to Hillary, included no classified information.  Okay, that was her first position, and when the classified emails showed up Hillary backed off and said she never knowingly sent or received classified information since none of it was marked classified.  That position would not protect her from being indicted for mishandling classified information since it was Hillary's responsibility to recognize the classified nature of the information and then to protect it properly (which she did not).  Nevertheless, the Washington Post today destroys Hillary's current position.  According to the Post analysis, there are at least 104 emails that Hillary herself wrote that contained classified information.  This is not one stray email that somehow got sent.  It's 104 times that Hillary sent classified information on her private unsecured system.  There's no way that Hillary's claim that she never KNOWINGLY sent classified information can be true.  NO WAY!

And let's not forget that there are 22 email chains that have not been released at all.  These 22 email exchanges were withheld because the information that they contain is so sensitive and secret that no part of the emails can be released without risking the protection of that information.  Now we don't know who sent and who received these 22 ultra-secret emails, but it certainly seems safe to assume that at lease some of these exchanges contained emails sent by Hillary.  That means that she sent emails containing some of our nation's greatest secrets on her home-brew system.

The truth is that Hillary Clinton ought to be indicted for her criminal mishandling of classified information.  What will it take for the Justice Department to act?  Do we need to start a Twitter hashtag #AmericanSecretsMatter ?
