This morning's news from Syria is the discovery in Homs of 47 bodies killed by Assad forces in Syria. All 47 were either women or children. The bodies show that most of the women were raped before being killed. These victims were not shot; they were either clubbed to death or stabbed and allowed to bleed out. The crime is so horrific that the Assad regime announced that the massacre was staged by the opposition in order to make the Assad forces look brutal.
Many congratulations to president Obama who says that the situation in Syria is too "complicated" for the USA to get heavily involved. Instead, Obama sits back while purported "diplomatic efforts" accomplish nothing.
This is a disgrace!
