Yesterday, in my post Debbie Does Charlotte, I wrote about the chair of the Democrat party lying about statements she attributed to Israeli ambassador Michael Oren that supposedly supported the Democrats over the Republicans. Ambassador Oren immediately issued a statement denying that he had ever said such words. In the language of diplomats, Oren said that Debbie Wasserman Schults is a liar.
Last night during the convention coverage, Wasserman Schultz was asked about this report. Her response was that the reporter involved, Philip Klein of the Washington Examiner, had deliberately misquoted her. According to Debbie, she never said what he reported. That led to another problem. Klein and the Examiner ran a story in which they posted Debbie's latest denial of making the statement together with the audio of the statement itself. Here is the link.
In case anyone had any doubt about it, lets make it really clear this time. DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ LIED. FIRST SHE LIED ABOUT WHAT THE ISRAELI AMBASSADOR SAID. THEN SHE LIED ABOUT WHAT SHE, HERSELF, SAID.
