In Washington on Friday, Obama spokesman Jay Carney told the press that the events this week in the middle east were not directed against America or against the policies of the Obama administration. According to Carney, everything that happened was the result of a video on Youtube. Shortly before that, Carney also announced that there was no indication that any of the attacks were premeditated. This was not Carney just going off message and getting it wrong. His basic position was repeated by Secretary Clinton when she spoke both on Thursday and Friday. Other spokesmen for the administration and the Obama campaign also repeated these positions.
There is nothing that can be said about this except one clear point: The Obama administration and the Obama campaign have lost their minds. They are not idiots and no sane person could believe what they are now saying.
First comes the question as to whether this is all the result of the video. Clearly, the answer is NO! In Libya, about 400 men armed with rocket propelled grenades, mortars and semi automatic weapons attacked the embassy in Benghazi on 9-11. When the safety protocols were followed and the ambassador and others were taken to a safe house at a location away from the embassy, about 50 armed men showed up at that supposedly secret location and attacked it. They used heavy weapons, not just clubs or stones. The safe house was hit with mortar fire and RPGs. This was a military attack carried out by an organized group of terrorists on 9-11. The attack was meticulously planned. Just learning the location of the safe house must have taken months of infiltration and observation. All of that took place long before the video was even filmed. In other words, no rational person could believe that the attack was the result of the video. The video was an excuse, and it was only an excuse.
The question of the attack being premeditated is even clearer. No one walks around with mortars, rocket propelled grenades and rifles, not even in Benghazi. Four hundred well armed men do not show up to attack an embassy on the spur of the moment. They do not know the location of a secret safe house if they just happened to be there without advance planning.
The truth is that Obama and the Obamacrats have to tell these stories because the truth is just too awful for them. Think about it. Everyone knew that the anniversary of 9-11 is a favorite time for terror attacks. That seems to be everyone except Obama and the Obamacrats; they did nothing to enhance security on that day. To make it worse, there have now been multiple sources that have confirmed that the American government received a warning that its embassies in the region could be targeted on 9-11, and that warning came at least two full days prior to the attack. Again, Obama and the Obamacrats did nothing to enhance security. Even worse, we know that on the day of the attacks, both the embassies in Libya and Egypt knew that "demonstrators" were coming at least two hours before the attacks commenced. Indeed, in Egypt, the embassy sent nearly al personnel home so that they could avoid the protests. Nevertheless, in both Egypt and Libya, the American guards at the embassies were prohibited from arming themselves in preparation to defend these installations. Obama and the Obamacrats actually saw to it that our diplomats were left totally defenseless in the face of an organized terror attack. How can Obama now admit the truth. If he does that, then Obama is admitting that he failed miserably in his duty to protect American lives and property. Instead, Obama and the Obamacrats are peddling another of their convenient lies, those untruths that they use to cover up their failures, the ones that the compliant liberal media helps to spread.
The problem here is the four Americans are dead. FOUR AMERICANS ARE DEAD!!!!! Obama failure to pay attention to his job is the reason for these deaths. It is a sorry record, but no amount of lying will cover up this total failure on the part of Obama.
