This morning in the metro New York area, it is about 50, a welcome relief after the recent stretch of extremely cold temperatures. I just heard a traffic report, however, in which drivers were advised to avoid the George Washington Bridge due to fog. We were told that it is better to use the Lincoln and Holland tunnels to get to New Jersey. Traffic on the GW Bridge is reportedly hardly moving due to fog.
As I listened to the report, I have to say that I felt admiration for Chris Christie. After all, just imagine how hard it is to tie up that bridge and to get fog blamed for it. The man is a master!
