And Now The Immortal Words of Ned Lamont

This morning, Connecticut Democrat candidate for governor Ned Lamont was asked the following question:

Will you raise taxes?

Here, is Lamont's answer:

Lamont then laughed.

We've just gone through an entire campaign where Lamont first said he would raise income taxes, put tolls on highways and impose a new tax on vehicles in the state during the primary season.  Then in the general election when Lamont's opponent made high taxes a big issue, Lamont claimed he would reduce taxes in the state.  His only proposal was to give a few homeowners a property tax break of about $100 per year, and he never took back the plan to raise the income tax.  Lamont got a lot of heat for this phony "tax cutting" promise.  So now, the day before the election, how does Lamont handle the issue?  He says, "No comment."

Can't you just see Lamont as governor?  If he can't even handle a question on taxes the day before the election, Lamont won't be able to handle any issue if he were in office.

It's just another reason to vote for GOP candidate Bob Stefanowski.
